On 27 November, the public presentation of the winning project of the Llull Lab 2025 creative grant will take place, developed by musician and composer Christos Barbas. Over the past three months, he has been working in depth on his proposal to create a contemporary mass for choir of voices and ney, the traditional reed flute of the Middle East. The central focus of the project has been to place verses from Ramon Llull’s Llibre d’Amic e Amat in dialogue with those of Eastern mystical and Sufi thinkers.

This activity is part of the celebration of the Feast of Blessed Ramon Llull and has been made possible thanks to the support of the Fundació Baltasar Coll and the Consell de Mallorca.
