The Agrarian Park of Palma: Current Situation

The Agrarian Park of Palma is a protected and managed area dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional agricultural activity within the municipality of Palma. Its goal is to ensure food sovereignty, conserve the rural landscape, and support a sustainable local economy. In addition, it promotes agroecological and local production, connecting the countryside with the city.
About Lluïsa Dubon:
PhD in Geography from the University of the Balearic Islands (November 1999). Her professional career has been mainly developed at the Balearic Institute of Statistics. She has also served as a member of the Parliament of the Balearic Islands and as Delegate Councillor for Urban Planning, Land Management, and Environment at the Island Councils of Menorca and later Mallorca. She has received several awards, including the Fifth “Francesc de Borja Moll” Cultural Research Award (1991) and the Ullastre Award for her contribution to the Territorial Plan of Menorca. In recent years, she has focused her work on the development of the Agrarian Park of Palma.
